BOSTON, March 14, 2013 – ClickSquared, a global provider of SaaS cross-channel campaign management software, today announced that its Board of Directors has named Sam Zales CEO. Zales succeeds Wayne Townsend who had served as ClickSquared’s CEO since 2008.

With more than 20 years of executive management and leadership experience in the technology and marketing industries, Zales has served in a variety of roles with global brands. Most recently, Zales was President of Zoom Information where he led day-to-day operations and oversaw the company’s growth strategy into the marketing services and sales intelligence arenas. Prior to Zoom Information, Zales was President and CEO of BuyerZone.com, an online marketplace for business purchasing which he led through its successful acquisition by Reed Elsevier. Sam also spent ten years at American Express, holding a variety of senior marketing roles. He began his career as a management consultant at Bain & Company. He has also served as board director and advisor to fast-growing venture-backed businesses including Performable (acquired by HubSpot), Locu, Artfact, and The Active Network.
