Senior Systems Administrator
location: Duluth, GA and Boston, MA
The position of Systems Administrator will require the ability to build, operate, manage, and troubleshoot physical and virtual Windows server, desktop and network environments. We are looking not just for a sharp technologist, but also an excellent communicator, problem solver, and innovator.
Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 2008, Active Directory, and VMWare ESX/VSphere
- A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts; understands principles of routing, switching, IP addressing, and client/server programming.
- A solid understanding of operating systems; understands paging and swapping, inter-process communications, devices and what device drivers do, file system concepts.
- Administration experience with MS SQL, SharePoint and Exchange
- Ability to solve problems quickly using available or new tools and techniques
- Identifies and implements process improvements and automation
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Experience working with teams of software developers and managing infrastructure designed to support the SDLC
