Business Development Manager
location: Boston
The Business Development Manager is responsible for creating, identifying and closing sales for ClickSquared within a specific geographical or vertical based territory. The incumbent must be a self-starting closer who can create a large pipeline of business within a short period of time.
We are looking for over-achieving and aggressive team players who are hungry, nimble and intelligent. Must have the ability to close business both mid-market and enterprise deals.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create and drive revenue within a specified territory
- Generate business opportunities through professional, dedicated prospecting and cold-calling
- Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Own the sales cycle, from lead generation to closure
- Develop strategic territory business plan
- Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our internal SFA system
- Generate leads from tradeshows and regional networking events
Required Experience:
- Proven sales hunter and closer with a track record of sales excellence
- Minimum of 5 – 7 years of software sales experience
- Articulate and persuasive communication skills
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment
- Superior professional presence and business acumen
- Experience selling at the “C” level a plus
- Direct marketing and database marketing a plus
