Account Manager

General Summary:

Account managers are responsible for managing on-time; on-budget and high quality execution of ClickSquared’s direct marketing programs.  Working within a cross-functional team that includes Solutions Experts, Production Services (print operations), Client Engineering, and R&D, account managers must organize, track and perform all of the discrete tasks required to deploy a new customer solution and execute multi-channel, direct marketing programs – including direct mail, e-mail, SMS messaging and web.  Successful Account Managers will have a demonstrated track record of managing projects, experience in one or more of the following areas: database marketing, customer analytics, and direct mail and/or email marketing programs, capability to learn how to use all of the features embedded in the ClickSquared software platform, leadership experience in a cross-functional environment, excellent oral and written communication skills and an outstanding client presence. 

It is the primary job of the account team to understand the client’s business objectives and to assure that the solutions we execute best meet those objectives.  While account managers are not expected to perform all of the tasks necessary to deliver these solutions, account managers will be responsible for managing work streams supported by individuals who do not report directly to him or her and for performing detailed tasks at a high level. The management aspect of the account manager’s responsibilities requires exceptional attention to detail, foresight in identifying issues before they may affect quality and on-time performance as well as a unique ability to communicate clearly internally and directly with clients.  The account manager’s responsibilities include helping Solutions Experts and Account Directors develop better programs including aiding in the evaluation, analysis, ideation, design, construction and measurement of program strategies and tactics, which will result in quarterly plans and presentations to the client. Responsibilities also include documentation of project plans and open issues, using ClickSquared’s web-based platform to set up and adjust campaigns, create document templates, administer customer applications, monitor daily production and identify issues, work with Production Services to correct issues, accommodate ad hoc customer report requests, generate print specifications, perform ad hoc customer campaigns, represent ClickSquared at customer team meetings and maintain internal and client communications  Account managers provide team leadership and function as the face of ClickSquared on a day-to-day basis with our clients.  This position requires a strong focus on ensuring customer satisfaction.
