Wayne Townsend — Chief Executive Officer

With more than a dozen years in CRM, direct marketing and analytics, Wayne Townsend brings deep experience to his post as CEO of ClickSquared. Wayne joined ClickSquared from Elity Systems, where he served as president and chief executive officer of the event–triggered solutions provider through its acquisition by MarketSoft. Over the course of his career, he has helped transition startups like Xchange Applications, Inc., a Boston-based leader in analytic Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions, through rapid growth to successful IPO. Wayne has held a variety of executive roles in sales and service, product strategy, marketing, and product management. In addition to solutions integration experience with Epsilon, an American Express company, and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), Wayne is a former United States Air Force Captain, who worked as manager of the F-15E Strike Eagle program. He is a graduate of MIT, with a B.S. in mechanical engineering, and the University of Dayton, with an MS in mechanical engineering.

Jeffrey J. Bussgang

Jeff is a General Partner at Flybridge Capital Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on the consumer, healthcare and information technology markets. Prior to Flybridge, Jeff co-founded Upromise (acquired by Sallie Mae), a loyalty marketing and financial services firm where he served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Board Director. Prior to Upromise, Jeff was an executive at Open Market, an Internet commerce software leader. During his five-year tenure, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and Business Development, Vice President of Worldwide Professional Services and head of Product Management. Prior to Open Market, Jeff was with the strategy consulting firm, The Boston Consulting Group, and served on the executive team of Athena Design. Jeff holds a BA in Computer Science from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar and a Ford Scholar. He is the author of Mastering the VC Game, an insiders guide on how to get from Start-up to IPO on your own terms.

Martha Rogers, PhD.

Recognized for the past decade as one of the world’s leading experts on customer-based business strategies and growing customer value, Dr. Martha Rogers is an acclaimed author — having co-authored seven best-selling books with Don Peppers - educator, and a founding partner of Peppers & Rogers Group, an innovative customer-focused management consulting firm, now a division of Carlson Marketing Worldwide.

As an Adjunct Professor at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, Dr. Rogers has helped to spearhead coursework at the MBA and Exec Ed level on “Growing Your Business by Increasing the Value of the Customer Base.” She is also the co-director of the Duke Center for Customer Relationship Management and is widely published in academic and trade journals.

Bill Burgess

Bill Burgess, Managing Partner of ABS, has 25 years of experience in venture capital and corporate finance. Immediately prior to joining ABS, he was Managing Director and Global Head of Deutsche Bank Venture Partners. He has also served as Vice Chairman of Global Corporate Finance at Deutsche Bank, and Global Co-Head of Industry Groups Investment Banking and Head of Technology Investment Banking at Alex. Brown and Sons. Bill is a board member of Adeptra and High Roads and has served on many other boards including Clearforest (acquired by Reuters) and PowerDsine (NASDAQ:PSDN, acquired by Microsemi). He also serves as Chairman of the New England Aquarium Board of Trustees and is a Trustee and Treasurer of St. Mark's School. He received his BA from Dartmouth College and MBA from Harvard Business School.

Brad Woloson

Brad Woloson is General Partner at JMI based in Baltimore, Maryland and currently is Director of Apparent Networks, Inc., Aptela, Inc., Axeda Corporation, Eloqua Corporation, Empathica, Inc., Harmony Information Systems, Inc., Managed Objects Solutions, Inc., Panorama Software, Ltd. and Unica Corporation. Brad’s past JMI investment experience includes Astrum Software Corporation, NEON Systems, Inc., Network Intelligence Corporation, Primax Recoveries, Inc., Qiave Corporation and Transcentive, Inc. Prior to joining JMI, Brad was a Financial Analyst in the Technology Group at Alex. Brown. Before Alex. Brown, he spent time at Kidder Peabody International, Inc. in London as a Fixed Income Analyst. Brad is a graduate from Harvard University.
