Inside Business Development Associate
Location: Waltham, MA
With direction and support, the Inside Business Development Associate will play a key role in achieving departmental goals for building and maintaining the sales pipeline by generating qualified leads for the outside sales team. This position will be responsible for introducing ClickSquared award winning multi-channel direct marketing programs and services to prospective buyers within Fortune 500 companies, and top-tier marketing agencies across Banking, Insurance, Investment, Communications, Retail, Travel & Hospitality and Non-Profit industries.
:: Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- On a per assigned account basis, identify and qualify potential buyers of click2's direct marketing programs by prospecting via email and phone - leveraging click2's value proposition and case studies to 'close' appointments for prospects to talk to Senior Executives and Sales team via WebEx call or in-person meetings.
- Communicate business and technological capabilities of click2's solution/case studies and then set up executive meetings to review.
- Obtain preliminary information about the prospects business vision, requirements and technological challenges.
- Work closely with sales staff to manage and coordinate prospect lists for each target account. Primary prospect targets include: Manager, Director and Senior Executive level marketing contacts within Fortune 500 companies and top-tier marketing agencies.
- Generate prospect lists by utilizing online resources to research industry and related events, publications and announcements; track individual contributors and their accomplishments, contact directory services and company corporate websites.
- Intermediate level contact database and list functions.
:: Requirements:
- 4-6 years prior experience with sales and marketing activities.
- Fundamental sales skills and Solution Selling training.
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written.
- Ability to cold call with high level of professionalism and perseverance.
- Enthusiasm and desire to succeed.
- Exposure to Direct Marketing and related technology desirable!
